Legion 5i or TUF Gaming A16?
Same GPU tier, $200 apart. The Legion has the better display and the better cooling; the TUF has a 16-inch screen and a lower price. At this tier the GPU sets your frame rate, so you are choosing between panel quality and $200.

Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10
- Lenovo's memory and storage upgrades — the slots are accessible, and aftermarket parts cost a third as much.
- The RTX 5070 step unless you play at 1600p above 100 frames per second.
ASUS TUF Gaming A16
- The memory or storage upgrades from ASUS — both are user-accessible here.
- The 32 GB tier unless you run virtual machines; games do not need it.
